The Story of Bottled Water

You can check out the quality of tap water in the Boston area pretty easily. My doctor recently told me that the tap water in Boston is so excellent that using a Brita filter is actually unnecessary (I use it anyway, just in case). Access to clean water is a vital part of our lives that we frequently take for granted. Many people around the world don't have the ability to simply turn on the tap and instantaneously have highly regulated, free water at (or down) their disposal. While we let gallons go down the drain and spend billions on bottles (that are laced with toxic materials that leach into our systems), there are children who trek miles just for a bucket-full.
