I just got an email about a community meeting on NIGHTLIFE CLUBS, RESTAURANTS and Expanded MBTA Service.
Boston has a lot of work to do in order to improve nightlife--especially for young professionals of color (case in point). The Greatest Minds Initiative has spent quite a bit of time talking about this issue, and trying to rally support from the City of Boston to make improvements. On result of these efforts is the group's presence at meetings of the Citizens' Committee on Boston's future (which is tackling a variety of issues related to making Boston better). This week marks yet another step in the journey to improve our city:
The "community" meeting of the Citizens’ Committee on Boston’s Future will be held at the Reggie Lewis Center, 1350 Tremont Street, Roxbury, MA 02119 on Wednesday, December 8th, 2010 at 6pm - 8pm. The Next Meeting will focus on "NIGHTLIFE CLUBS, RESTAURANTS and Expanded MBTA Service". We are preparing a final report to the Boston City Council and would like your INPUT.
Check out this facebook note for more details.
