First Draft of Yao Ming's Retirement Speech

Boston is home to a number of amazing poets. Our slam teams consistently perform well at the National Poetry Slams. Artists from the Bean are known far and wide for their lyrical dexterity and thoughtful flows. Poets from Boston are also known for knowledge dropping and slipping social consciousness into spoken word without being heavy handed. Giles Li is one of my favorite poets (in general, not just in Boston) because he is a master of such thought provocation. As evidence, I submit the first piece from his new film project (made with contributions from members of the ever talented Boston Progress fam). Keep dropping gems Giles.
