Willie Colon Blessed Boston

Last night, Boston was blessed by one of the best. The legendary salsa musician, community activist and apparently part-time comedian, Willie Colon graced the Boston City Hall Plaza stage to play to an enthusiastic crowd. It was a beautiful night--the weather could not have been more perfect for outdoor music and dancing and the fans kept it positive and peaceful (something this city could use more of right about now. Here are a few of the photos I snapped in between hip-shaking and giggling at Colon's bilingual jokes:

I couldn't help wishing, as I walked back to my car, that there were events like this in Boston every week (or at least once a month). My boy Sirius Black remarked that such a thing would certainly make Boston truly "world class." Let's get on that!
